On June 22, two bodies were discovered inside a burned-out vehicle on the Periférico Ecológico near the Chapulco lagoon, south of the city of Puebla. A narco banner attributed to La Familia Michoacana was left at the scene. Two days later, more burned bodies were found.
This morning, June 24, burned and dismembered human remains were found in a vacant lot behind Carmelitas Boulevard and the Periférico Ecológico in Puebla.
The corpses may be
related to the dispute over control of the Morelos market, according to the head of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), Vice Admiral Francisco Sánchez González
