
A cyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a KMB double-decker bus in Hong Kong on Monday afternoon.
The 60-year-old man was hit at around 2.50pm outside North Kwai Chung Public Library on Shek Yam Road.
He was trapped beneath the front wheels of the bus and had to be freed by firefighters and paramedics. He was rushed unconscious to Yan Chai Hospital in Tsuen Wan.

Images from the scene showed the man’s lower body pinned under the bus, with a long skid mark on the road. The bus windscreen was also cracked, while the bicycle lay overturned across the road.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
