In the framework of the project “Supporting the State and Civil Society efforts in combating torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment in Kyrgyzstan” funded by European Union, PRI in cooperation with the UNICEF in Kyrgyzstan and PF “Legal Centre” prepared Commentary to the Criminal Procedure Code.
The development of the Commentary to the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, along with comments to other legislative acts, helps to ensure the sustainability of training and other measures to improve the professional capacity of lawyers.
The commentary is intended for judges, law enforcement officials, lawyers, faculty and law students, as well as for representatives of the expert community and citizens involved in legal reform processes.
The text of the Commentary to the Criminal Procedure Code was published on the website of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan.
