Audias Flores Silva alias “El Jardinero”, a high ranking CJNG leader and plaza boss of Nayarit, was captured by Mexican authorities yesterday in Mirador, Nayarit.
Jardinero served as head of security for El Mencho as well as the plaza boss for Nayarit state, where took charge of production and trafficking of synthetic drugs to the United States.
According to state authorities, Jardinero was hiding in a cabana in the remote community of El Mirador. Despite having around 60 armed gunmen as bodyguards, Jardinero was captured without any casualties.
According to state authorities, six vehicles and six convenience stores were torched in Nayarit state by CJNG members in response to Jardinero’s capture.
On the same day, Mexico announced security forces arrested César Alejandro, alias “El Güero Conta”, a financial operator of the CJNG.
