As China’s expanding global footprint comes under pressure from geopolitics and restrictions from the West, a Chinese analysis posted on the Global Security Research social media account has called for a major shift in strategy.
The author was not identified, but the account regularly posts analysis and commentary on Chinese national security ranging from nuclear issues to supply chains and technological sovereignty.
It called for Beijing to move beyond crisis management and focus instead on prevention and cooperation when it comes to the country’s interests abroad.
